In USA, Liliana is a Florida Licensed Interior Designer with her firm “Korn Interior Design, Inc.”. Liliana is also a Florida Licensed General Contractor, and a Certified “Aging-In-Place Specialist”.

Presently and for more than 30 years, in her native country of Argentina, Liliana is a licensed architect, a general contractor and a job and project manager with her own company. As an architect in Argentina, Liliana has done everything for her clients, from finding the lot and designing the building to selecting the furnishings and the art work.

In February 2008, in an open audition held by Architectural Digest magazine, a panel of editorial judges headed by longtime editor-in-chief and Interior Design Hall of Fame Member, Paige Rense chose Liliana for her projects in Argentina and the USA, as one of the top three professional designers in South Florida. Ms. Paige Rense stated to the press that “I think that Liliana’s work is representative of a new direction in Florida design-very contemporary but not sterile. It’s plain and minimal without being austere.”

In August 2009, Liliana graduated with honors, with the equivalent of Suma Cum Laude from Florida International University Post Professional Master’s of Arts Degree Program in Interior Architecture. Her Master’s Thesis Research Project entitled “Transdisciplinary Teams and Aging in Place Design; The Interior Designer’s Role” won the ASID Foundation Academic Achievement Award.

Liliana is a guest critic and a mentor to Undergraduate and Graduate students at Florida International University Interior Architecture Department.

Liliana is a self-described perfectionist who has extensive experience working in luxury residential projects, both new construction and renovation projects, creating unique and sophisticated livable spaces that meet her clients’ lifestyles,  aesthetic and functional goals.

Liliana personally takes care of every detail of her clients’ projects. For her many repeat clients, Liliana has designed their private residences, businesses, hospitality and retail projects.
